Cafe Attendant

JOB SUMMARY:

The role of Cafe Attendant is an integral part of the BlueFit business, creating the first impression for each and every customer that visits a BlueFit facility. Café / Front Counter staff will require a positive attitude, coupled with a bubbly personality to ensure customers receive a high standard of service all the time.

There is an expectation of this role that Cafe / Front Counter Staff will have good interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service to visitors to the centre, as well as effective communications with internal team members. A team oriented attitude will also be beneficial.

Creche Attendant

JOB SUMMARY:

The role of a Creche Attendant is a crucial role within BlueFit as a family orientated orgnisation. It is a role that requires staff to demonstrate a positive attitude, a caring and nurturing personality (particularly with children) and a safety first approach.

Customer Success Officer (Reception)

JOB SUMMARY:

The role of Customer Success Officer is an integral part of the BlueFit business, creating the first impression for each and every customer that visits a BlueFit facility. Customer Success staff require a positive attitude, coupled with a friendly and warm personality to ensure a great customer experience each and every time they engage with us.

 SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Some of the tasks that this role is responsible for include:

  • Ensuring work areas are clean and presentable at all times.
  • Ensuring phone calls are answered in a timely manner, using a friendly tone and messages are taken accurately and passed on to the appropriate person.
  • Ensure the Till Off and Cash up Process is completed accurately every time.
  • Process all admissions into the facility and ensure visit passes and memberships passes are administered correctly and maintained appropriately 
  • Process new memberships and renewals in a timely manner, ensuring all data is provided without errors.
  • Ensure incidents, hazards and injuries are reported immediately to the Centre/Duty/Customer Service Manager.
  • Ensure operational issues are raised with the appropriate person in a timely manner.
  • Participate in any continuous 
  • Assist other team members in delivering our products and services in a professional and timely manner where required
  • Complete non-attendance reports for swim school
  • Complete outstanding payments reports / follow up payments that fail during processing.
  • Process cancellations 
  • Respond to swim school bookings and enquiries 

This is a busy role so the right candidate can handle multiple tasks, has attention to detail and does not get flustered under pressure.

Duty Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

BlueFit is looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join the team. This busy and dynamic facility is home to a highly motivated and skilled aquatic operations team, which is looking to expand.

Our Duty Managers are fundamental to the safety and enjoyment of our members and guests. To be successful in this role applicants should demonstrate:

Group Fitness Instructor

Gym Instructor

JOB SUMMARY:

As a BlueFit Group Fitness Instructor, we look for those who can demonstrate that they are engaging, supporting and encouraging our customers, our community and our team.  

As well as great communication with customers and internal team members, our Fitness Instructors need a good eye for detail to ensure that the gym facilities are kept clean, tidy and are presented in such a way as to create a really great customer experience.

Some of the typical tasks that you might be responsible for include:

  •  Provide customer support and advice, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Set the Health Club up for the day 
  • Engage with all members that enter and exit the Health Club to ensure their experience is as positive as it can be.
  • Ensure that any faults with equipment are reported as soon as possible, following the correct procedure.
  • Promote the BlueFit way throughout the site.
  • Timely raising of operational issues the appropriate person to enable swift resolution
  • Support team members in delivering our products and services in a professional, friendly and timely manner 
  • Participate in all staff development and product training where required

BlueFit Swimming is seeking committed team members for multiple positions available across the learn to swim business, including customer service and learn to swim instructors.

Pool Deck Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:

The key role of a Pool Deck Co-Ordinator (PDC) is to guide the Learn to Swim team of instructors to ensure that programs developed by BlueFit program directors are taught in a progressive and methodical manner in order to position BlueFit as a Learn to Swim leader.

 

The ability to work well with others to foster a supportive work environment to assist the Learn to Swim team is critical.

 

The PDC will work in conjunction with the Swim School Manager to identify department inefficiencies, OH&S issues, and any concerns that may arise from Parents of Learn to Swim students. 

This means that the PDC will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to both build learn to swim teacher skills but also to manage the Customer Experience ensuring positive and quality outcomes.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Promote safe work practices in all aspects of daily operations and provide feedback to LTS teachers where required.
  • Ensure the smooth running of daily operations for the Learn to Swim program through planning and monitoring.
  •  Hold all Learn to Swim (LTS) staff accountable for the responsibilities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Meet regularly with the Swim School Manager, LTS teachers and to assess the progress of the LTS students.
  • Ensure incidents, hazards and injuries are reported in a timely manner and information provided is of a high quality.
  • Assist other team members in delivering our products and services in a professional and timely manner where required
  • Proactively market BlueFit’s products and services
  • Assess all learn to swim
  • Make sure all teachers are following the program
  • Ensure teachers are practicing vigilance in their supervision to ensure safe outcomes at all times.
  • Record Parent queries and complaints.
  • Setup the pool deck for the Learn to swim teachers and maintain a clean and tidy work area for the duration of the day.
  • Ensuring a high quality of data is recorded where required to assist other team members in resolving potential customer issues.
  • In conjunction with the Swim School Manager, provide feedback and strategies to LTS teachers to rectify deficiencies where identified.
